Come and hear a quite remarkable
true story about Ian G Brennan's
determination to recover from losing
his furniture making business in a
fire in 1984, and as a direct result to
then discovering to his amazement
that he had a unknown, natural ability
to be a sculptor. Within five years of
the fire Ian was officially appointed
the 'Sculptor to the Most Noble
Order of the Garter and Honourable
Order of the Bath'. Since then Ian
has been commissioned to create
over 100 unique sculptures for the
British Royal Household including
recently a sculpture for HRH Prince
William. His unique anecdotes about
dealing with the consequences of
the fire and his work for Royalty,
together with many truly
extraordinary pictures, make this an
entertaining evening not to be
missed. Ian has also been invited to
talk about his work on-board the
QE2 and Queen Mary 2; and in
