A guided walk of approx 3 miles (2.5 hours).
A circular walk to the west of Selsey discovering
the wildlife, history and future of an area that
forms part the coastal managed re-alignment.
Dogs on leads please. The walk will include areas
of rough ground and some stiles. Please wear
suitable footwear and clothing depending on the weather.

PRESENTS “CHASING THE MOON’SSHADOWS – THE SPLENDOUR OFTOTAL ECLIPSE”.
We are very luck to have Dr John Mason
MBE, visiting professor of the University
of Chichester, widely regarded as one of the
leading authorities in world astronomy,
to take us on an enthralling journey
into space.
John has written or edited over 70 books
and appears frequently on TV programmes
including THE SKY AT NIGHT and
TOMORROW’S WORLD. He has given
lectures across the globe and has led
numerous astronomy and eclipse chasing
expeditions. Dr Mason will share many anecdotes during
this captivating evening which will be
opened by Steve Power, leading presenter
of WAVE 105 and introduced by Sir
Patrick Moore.At the conclusion Dr Mason and Sir
Patrick will be delighted to answer questions
from the audience.

This is a celebration on the wealth and diversity
of wildlife in the area with the main focus on ‘Marine Life’.
The local primary schools’ art competition will be
exhibited along with wildlife images, many other
displays with a marine wildlife theme, and lots to

discover the beauty and mystery of the sea,
which we are very lucky here to have as our neighbour.
